All-League Players
A pair of Siuslaw Baseball players were named to the Mountain Valley Conference All-League list. For the infield it was junior Maximus Reynolds and for the outfield it was senior Mathias Wilson.
Baseball
Today begins the Pac 12 tournament in Baseball. The Oregon State Beavers are up first with a 10 am game against Stanford. The Oregon Ducks will have a later start at 2:30 against the Utah Utes. The Beaver game will be aired on KCFM beginning at 9:30.
Athlete of the Year
Tomorrow at a special presentation at Siuslaw High School the Athlete of the Year will be announced along with the Honorable Mentions. The presentation is for the student population. Parents of nominate students are welcome. This year’s finalists for the award are: for the girls: Jane Lacouture , Danin Lacouture, Macali Lade, Maya Wells, Abby Riggs, Alison Hughes.
