May, Pitcher of the Month
Another Oregon State Baseball player has received kudos from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers association. Right Handed Pitcher Aiden May was named pitcher of the month for the Beavers. May posted a 4-0 record in the month of May, recording a 1.86 earned run average in five starts. The right-hander worked 29 innings in May, striking out 34 while holding opponents to 24 hits and 10 walks while allowing just six earned runs.
Duck Athletes Honored
18 athletes on the Oregon Duck Track and Field Team have received all-American Honors this week. There were 24 All American picks for the 18 athletes. Sprinter Jadyn Mays received 3 honors in the 100, 200 and 4×100 meters. Other multi honorees included May’s teammates in the 4×100, Ella Clayton and Shaniya Hall who also received honors in the 4×400 relay. Shana Grebo received two as well in the 400 and 4×400 relay.
