Vigil for Former Oregon Athlete

The University of Oregon is planning a candlelight vigil for former Oregon Football Player Khyree Jackson who died in an automobile crash in Maryland early Saturday morning.  The vigil will take place at 8pm at Autzen Stadium.  The public may enter through the south entrance beginning at 7:30. Jackson was drafted in the fourth round by the Minnesota Vikings.

Ems Drop First in Series

The Eugene Emeralds were shutout by the league leading Canadians last night at PK Park.  The Ems had their best chance at scoring in the bottom of the third inning but left the bases loaded.  Vancouver managed 6 runs on 12  hits to shut down the host team.  The series continues this evening at 6:30
