It has been an up and down season for the Eugene Emeralds. Last night it was an up as the Ems outscored the Hops 5-1. A line drive in the bottom of the third by Charlie Szykowny drove in two runs to take a 4-1 lead. In the bottom of the 7th Jonah Cox homered to increase the lead to 4. The Ems held the Hops to 4 hits on the night. The teams meet again this evening at 6:35.
