Soccer Playoff; Viking Victory on Senior Night

Siuslaw Viking Boys Soccer will head to the post season against the Sisters Outlaws.  The game to determine who will go to the state playoffs will be on the upcoming Tuesday at Hans Petersen Field. Siuslaw is ranked #19 by the OSAA.  Sisters is ranked #32 and fell to the Vikings in a tight match in September 2-1.  Siuslaw has been facing some injuries of late but hope to be close to full strength for the upcoming game.

Viking Victory on Senior Night

The Siuslaw Vikings volleyball team dominated on senior night, winning three straight sets at home against Glide, 25-19, 25-18, and 25-18. Kimberly Martinez-Munoz led the team with an impressive hitting efficiency of 0.533, racking up 16 kills with no errors on 30 attempts, along with 22 digs for a stellar performance. Kamorah Lake added 4 blocks, 2 aces, and 5 kills, while Abby Riggs contributed 10 kills. Kylee Stinger also helped the team with 3 aces. The Vikings’ strong teamwork sealed their victory in front of the home crowd.
