Siuslaw Hall of Fame

Two-time state wrestling champion Jason Gage, a 2004 Siuslaw High School graduate, will be inducted into the Siuslaw High School Hall of Fame on August 22. Gage posted a perfect 36-0 senior season and is one of only two Viking boys to win back-to-back state titles, joining his uncle Larry Martin. Known for his technical style and relentless work ethic, Gage went on to wrestle at Oregon State. The Hall of Fame ceremony takes place at 5 p.m. in the main gym, with free admission and a suggested $10 donation to the Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club.
