Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club and Coast Radio Sports congratulate sophomore distance runner Henry Stone as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Stone led a contingency of runners to yet another State Championship last week taking a 4th place finish overall with a time of 15:52.3. Stone has been at the top or near the top of the leaderboard 6 times this season.
Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention goes to senior Camden Linton who has been bouncing between Soccer and Cross Country this season. Soccer Coach Londi Tomaro says his efforts on the field in their playoff loss made for one of the best matches the team has ever played.
OSU Women Defeats Air Force
Last night the Oregon State Beaver women handled Air Force in a gritty win on the court. Senior Tiara Bolden led the Beavers with 23 points and 8 rebounds in the 60-49 win from Gill Coliseum.
Next Up
The Oregon Duck women will be on the court this evening to take on Grand Canyon. The Ducks are undefeated so far and will host GCU from Matthew Knight Arena at 6pm.
The Ducks and Beavers Men’s teams will be on the court tomorrow. Coast Radio will cover both games. The Beavers will air on KCFM beginning at 6pm against North Texas, the Ducks will air on KCST at 6pm also hosting South Dakota State
