Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club and Coast Radio Sports congratulate Mapleton senior Averie Walker as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Her contributions to the Sailor’s 5-0 start in league play has been invaluable according to coach Vanessa Clemons. She gave two solid performances last week against Triangle Lake and Alsea helping to extend the Sailor’s win streak.
Honorable mention goes to Ryleigh Panschow. who had 11 rebounds, 6 steals, and 5 points on Friday night for the lady Vikings.
Basketball
On the schedule this evening the Mapleton Sailors will be on the court against Mohawk. the game is an away game for the sailors.
the Siuslaw Vikings will be on the road as well at Douglas. the games will be on KCST beginning at 5:15.
