Vikings Defeat Harrisburg
Siuslaw picked up a 5-3 win over Harrisburg on Tuesday behind a strong outing from Zak Nilles. Nilles struck out 12, allowing 4 hits and 3 runs over 7 innings. The Vikings rallied from a 3-0 deficit, taking the lead in the fifth on a 2-run single by Jacob Mann.
Lady Vikings Score 9 But Fall Short
Harrisburg used a 7-run fifth inning to pull away from Siuslaw 19-9 in the Lady Vikings’ season opener Tuesday. Che Bruce had 2 hits, while Avey Hulet and Elizabeth Redelfs doubled. Siuslaw travels to Sweet Home Thursday,
