The 18-and-five Oregon State Baseball squad begins a three-game series at home in Corvallis this afternoon against the Mercer University Bears. The Division I powerhouse from Macon, Georgia has won nine of their last eleven games and are 21-and-4 on the season. Oregon State is 18-and-5 overall and the Beavers have won 13 of their last 14. First pitch this afternoon at Goss Stadium in Corvallis is at 5:35. Game time tomorrow is a 3:05, the series wraps up Sunday afternoon with a 1:05 start time. All three games will air on KCFM, the Soundtrack of our Lives, AM 1250, FM 104.1 in Florence and FM 103.1 in Mapleton.
The Oregon Ducks are 21-and-4, on a two-game win streak. They’re in Southern Cal this weekend for a three-game nonleague series against UC Santa Barbara. The Ducks and the Gauchos play this evening, then again Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Oregon will host the University of Portland Tuesday evening at PK Park in Eugene.
