Vikings Play On Despite Coach Resignation
The Siuslaw Vikings will be under new leadership this afternoon as they face Toledo in a double header. Derek Wells resigned yesterday after rumblings about players not being happy surfaced. The 4-4 Vikings finish up preseason play today and will begin league play on Tuesday against South Umpqua. game two of today’s matchup will air on KCST beginning at 5:15.

Viking softball finish up non-league action yesterday with a double-header against Creswell. the girls took the first game 14-10, but were not able to repeat for the second game falling 20-5. softball begins league play on Tuesday against south Umpqua.
College Baseball
Oregon Duck Baseball begins a 3-game stand at home tomorrow against 19th ranked Nebraska. Friday’s game will begin at 5pm from PK Park.
The Oregon State Beaver will host Cal Poly for three games beginning tomorrow. pre game on KCFM will be at 5 pm with a 5:35 first pitch.
