Vikings Show Up for Prefontaine Rotary Invitational
Tom Morgan was atop the podium on Saturday at the Prefontaine Rotary Invitational. Morgan scored a first-place finish in the 100 meters with a time of 11:32. beating out Roseburg’s David Schmid by 5/100’s of a second. Schmid bested Morgan in the 200 meters, though Morgan scored a personal best at 22.45 for a second-place finish. Sophomore Henry Stone scored a second-place finish in the mile at 4:33.07. Sophomore Ezra King finished 10th. Senior Jacob Mann finished 7th in the shot put and 5th in the discus. Senior Will Johnson won the triple jump with a distance of 43’5” and was second in the pole vault clearing 13 feet. and finished 4th in the long jump. Junior Aidell Cadet won the 100 meter hurdles in 16.41. finished 2nd in the triple jump at 35’3”. She took 4th place in the 300-meter hurdles in 49.10. Danin Lacouture finished 2nd in the shot put at 33’11.5”

The Oregon Ducks took 2 of three from Nebraska over the weekend finishing Sunday with 5-4 win yesterday. the Oregon State Beavers sweep Cal Poly, closing the series with a come from behind win trailing 2-1 in the ninth.
