Games Rescheduled
Baseball and Softball matches have been rescheduled due to heavy rains expected in the area. The game against South Umpqua will be Thursday. Viking baseball will air on KCST beginning at 4:15
Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club and Coast Radio Sports congratulate Senior Siuslaw Track and Field’s Thomas Morgan as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Morgan won the 100 in 11.32 and finished second in the 200 with a personal best 22.45, now third all-time for the Vikings.
Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention goes to junior Aidell Cadet: Cadet won the 100 hurdles in 16.411, second in triple jump at 35-3, fourth in 300 hurdles in 49.10a and tied for eighth in high jump at 4-6.
Wright Fires team best 85
Siuslaw sophomore Mason Wright shot a team-best 85 at the Eugene Country Club Invitational on Monday. The Vikings finished 14th overall with a team score of 377. Wright placed 30th in a field of 76 golfers.
