Siuslaw Track and Field

Siuslaw sophomore Henry Stone raced into the school’s top 10 all‑time Saturday, winning the 3,000 meters at the Roseburg Twilight Invitational in a personal‑best eight minutes, 59.50 seconds. Senior Thomas Morgan claimed the 100 meters, while Lady Vikings junior Aidell Cadet swept the high jump and triple jump. Senior Danin Lacouture won the shot put. The Lady Vikings finished fifth among 20 schools, and the Siuslaw boys placed seventh out of 19. Cadet scored 28 of the Lady Vikings’ 49 points. Lacouture added 18. Morgan led the boys with 16 points, and Stone scored 10. Sophomore Clair McNeill finishes second in the 3000 meters. Siuslaw also had five additional top‑six finishes across distance, throws, and the javelin.

Viking Baseball

Siuslaw split Friday’s doubleheader with South Umpqua. After a 10–0 loss in game one, the Vikings rebounded with a 6–3 win in game two. Siuslaw scored three in the first and never trailed again. Jacob Mann went seven innings for the win, and Coleman Weidman finished three-for-three at the plate.

College Baseball

After a 2-1 loss on Friday the OSU Beavers brought home 2 wins, taking game 2 of the series Saturday 6-1 and capping off the weekend yesterday taking a 9-0 lead into the 7th inning final score 10-2.

The Ducks went 2-1 over the weekend defeating Nebraska Friday 7-6 and losing Saturday 10-8. a 3-run 6th inning Sunday gave the Ducks a 5-4 victory.
