Mapleton Fall Schedule
The Mapleton Sailors have released their fall sports schedules. Mapleton football will play 6 of its 9 regular‑season games at home, opening the season Sept. 4 against Crow. The Lady Sailors volleyball team opens Aug. 27 on the road at Camas Valley, with their first home match set for Aug. 28 against Pacific. In a Siuslaw note, a partial schedule posted on the OSAA website shows the Vikings may both open and close the 2026 football season against Coquille. Listed games include an Aug. 28 nonleague home opener versus Coquille, a Sept. 18 home game against Elmira, and an Oct. 30 Special District 4 matchup at Coquille.
College Baseball
The 13th ranked Oregon Ducks will be heading to Los Angeles to take on the Bruins. The Bruins hole a 28-19 advantage since the Ducks returned in 2009. Oregon is 35-12 heading into the three game series. The 10th ranked OSU Beavers will be in Long Beach for a three game series. game one is tomorrow with a 5:30 Pregame on KCFM. First Pitch at 6:05.
Track and Field
Siuslaw Track and Field will participate in the Frank Good “Almost Varsity” Classic today at Sutherlin High School. first event is at 4pm.
