Duck’s Bradley Top Finalist

Oregon sophomore Tanner Bradley is one of 14 finalists for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award, honoring the nation’s top Division I relief pitcher. Bradley enters the Austin Super Regional with a 5-1 record, a 1.76 ERA, and 79 strikeouts in 51 innings. He ranks among the national leaders in WHIP and batting average against and is one of six finalists still playing in the postseason. Bradley is the fourth Duck ever named a finalist for the award.

Super Regional

The Ducks will be in Austin Texas for the NCAA Super Regional.  they will face a tough Longhorn pitching rotation. Texas brings one of the nation’s top pitching staffs into this weekend’s Austin Super Regional against Oregon. The Longhorns are led by ace Dylan Volantis, who carries a 1.94 ERA, while Ruger Riojas has delivered several double-digit strikeout performances this season. Texas advanced through its regional with strong outings from both its starters and bullpen and will look to slow an Oregon offense that’s seeking its first College World Series berth since 1954. the game will be on ESPN.

3 Game Slide for the Ems

The Eugene Emeralds are on a 3 game slide after losing again last night 12-2 against the Everett Aquasox.  they hope to bounce back this evening with 3 games remaining in the series.
