Ems Drop Series to Indians; UO’s Bradley Recognized

Ems Drop Series to Indians

The Eugene Emeralds dropped their series finale Sunday, falling 4-2 to the Spokane Indians. Eugene jumped out early with back-to-back home runs from Lisbel Diaz and Walker Martin in the second inning, but Spokane answered with four unanswered runs to secure the win and take the series. Despite losing four of the final five games, the Emeralds had already clinched the Northwest League first-half title and now head to Pasco for a six-game series against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

UO’s Bradley Recognized

Oregon reliever Tanner Bradley has earned another All-America honor, landing on Baseball America’s second team. The sophomore posted a 5-1 record with a 1.66 ERA and a program-record 0.82 WHIP this season, striking out 84 batters in just over 54 innings. It’s Bradley’s third All-America selection of the year.
