Tri-City Tops Ems
The Eugene Emeralds were shut out by Tri-City 2-0 in game two of the series, evening it at a game apiece heading into the first-half finale tomorrow. Eugene stranded 11 runners and went 0-10 with runners in scoring position, while Tyler Switalski allowed just one run over six innings in the loss. Trevor Cohen’s 15-game hitting streak also came to an end.
College Football
Oregon State will play a 12-game football schedule with 6 home games at Reser Stadium under the rebuilt Pac-12. The season opens September 5th at Houston, with key home matchups against Texas Tech, Washington State, and Utah State. The regular season wraps up November 28th with a flex game still to be determined.
