OSU Gets Prospect from SDSU

Oregon State football added another future prospect over the weekend. Ayden Payne of Anaheim, California, announced he is switching his commitment from San Diego State to the Beavers after visiting Corvallis. The 6-foot-3 athlete has contributed on both sides of the ball at Anaheim Western High School, recording 3 interceptions on defense while also posting nearly 800 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns as a junior. Payne becomes the 12th member of Oregon State’s 2027 recruiting class and one of several commitments secured during a busy recruiting weekend.
