Mapleton / Siuslaw Football Co-op
Mapleton senior lineman Gabby Sweet is returning to Siuslaw Vikings football for his senior season as Mapleton and Siuslaw renew their football co-op for 2026. Sweet previously played for the Vikings as a freshman and sophomore before joining Mapleton’s six-man football team last fall. With no Sailors football program this season, Sweet is currently the only Mapleton player on the Vikings roster. Siuslaw opens the season August 28 at home against Coquille and begins defense of its 3A Special District 4 title October 4 against Douglas.
