Emeralds Give Up Lead
The Eugene Emeralds dropped the opener of their six-game series with Everett Tuesday night, falling 5-2 to the AquaSox. The game was tied at 2-2 after three innings, but Everett scored the final three runs, including home runs by Luke Stevenson and Felnin Celesten. Eugene falls to 1-3 in the second half and 43-27 overall on the season.
OSU Heading Back to Arlington
Oregon State baseball is headed back to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, for the 2027 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series. The Beavers are scheduled to face Arkansas, Baylor, and Oklahoma State during the February tournament. Oregon State has played seven games at the home of the Texas Rangers over the past two seasons, posting five wins. Reserved tickets go on sale Thursday, with additional ticket options available later this year.
