Ems Fall Behind
The Eugene Emeralds fell to Spokane 4-1 Thursday night, giving the Indians a one-game lead in the series. Jakob Christian drove in the Ems’ only run, while starter Jacob Bresnahan struck out a career-high 11 over 6 innings. Spokane scored 3 times in the eighth to secure the win.
UO to Honor Individuals
The University of Oregon has announced its 2026 Athletic Department distinguished alumni award winners. The late Doug Koke, who led the Ducks onto the field on his Harley-Davidson for 23 seasons, will receive the Order of the O Honorarium posthumously. Former football standout Allan Amundson and former soccer goalkeeper Domenique Rice will also be honored during ceremonies at the October 10 UCLA game.
