Coach’s Poll
OSAA has released its latest statewide Class 4A and 3A football coach’s polls following Week Three of the regular season. The weekly polls are based on votes from varsity head coaches across Oregon and are intended to generate interest and discussion. The coach’s polls do not affect the OSAA rankings used to determine playoff qualification or seeding. Siuslaw was ranked 9th.
Sports Schedule
Siuslaw Viking sports will be active today as the Lady Vikings will travel to Sutherlin for a 6pm match. The soccer teams will be split as the Viking Boys travel to Sutherlin and the girls will host Rogue Valley.
The Mapleton Sailors volleyball team will host McKenzie.
This evening at 7 pm jay Nilles and Joe Giammona will talk with coach Sam Johnson about last week’s Elmira win and this week’s matchup against Creswell.
