Coast Radio and Ace Hardware Team Up Again For Pumpkin Giveaway
FLORENCE
Orange you glad it’s that time of year again? Coast Radio and its sponsors are gearing up for the 38th Annual Great Pumpkin Giveaway on Thursday, October 22nd! Around 3,000 pounds of pumpkins will be handed out starting at 4:00 PM, but don’t be late – most will be gone within 15 minutes!
Thirty-eight years ago, KCST began giving away free pumpkins to local kids to celebrate our first anniversary, and the tradition continues thanks to the Lemhouse Family, Ace Hardware, Florence Home Furniture and Florence Saw Shop.
The pumpkins are free for kids 18 and under while supplies last, and the event kicks off at 3:00 PM with pumpkins being distributed at 4:00 PM in the parking lot of the Florence Saw Shop and Florence Home Furniture. Plus, there will be free hot dogs, A&W Root Beer, and plenty of treats for the kids!
Coast Radio’s George Henry will be broadcasting live from 3:00 to 5:00 that afternoon.
