Port pursuing new manager

The Port of Siuslaw Commission worked on wrapping up their plans to search for a new manager in a special meeting yesterday.  Interim manager Suzy Lacer said the initial job notification will be posted this week with an application deadline in about four weeks.  Commissioners are on a tight deadline to make headway on finding a permanent replacement for Mark Freeman who resigned earlier this month.  Lacer has made it clear her interim role will end on October 15^th.
