Three guest speakers will talk about the fall prospects for anglers this evening during the monthly meeting of the Florence Salmon Trout Enhancement Program. Oregon State Game Trooper Scott Salisbury, along with a representative from the U.S. Coast Guard Siuslaw Station and guide Clyde Clark will talk about safety and regulations on the Siuslaw River and other area waterways. A prime topic will also be the September 15th opening of the wild coho fishery on the Siuslaw. The local STEP group meets at seven pm at the Florence Elks Lodge on 12th Street.
