Viking Softball unloaded on the Bandon Tigers in two games Thursday…
In game one, Kylie Brandt was three-for-three with five RBI as Siuslaw came out on top 16-2 in 4 ½ innings. Coach Sean O’Mara called it a “flawless defensive outing” for the Viks.
In the nightcap, the Vikings exploded for 16 runs in the first inning, eight more in the second and five in the third to down the Tigers 29 – 1. Lacey DeSantis was three-for-four with a triple and two singles as Siuslaw exploited the Tigers’ youth and inexperience on the mound.
