Starter Travis Gallagher went 6 1/3 innings, allowing no earned runs and five hits for the win; Jake Thompson got the save, pitching the final two outs; and the Three Rivers Sandblasters topped the Salt Lake City Gulls Blue squad 4-3 yesterday to open the Papa’s Pizza Tournament in Eugene. The Sandblasters face Napa, California this afternoon at 12:30 in day two of the five day invitational.
