Currently they’re known as ODOT No. 1 and ODOT No. 2. The Statesman Journal reports they’ll follow a tradition of naming Northwest trains after mountain peaks. The public can vote online from among five peaks: Mt. Bachelor, Mt. Jefferson, Mt. McLoughlin, Mt. Scott and Mt. Thielsen.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Fire officials say an 18-wheeler rig hauling a huge steel and concrete beam overturned on a Portland bridge and a nearby car was crushed. KATU-TV reports that a worker steering the rear wheels of the giant truck jumped out yesterday and pulled a young woman from the crushed car. Both vehicles caught fire. The woman was treated for arm injuries.
