The weather has been playing havoc… Rain washed out yesterday’s scheduled non-conference college baseball matchup between Oregon and Oregon State… it will not be rescheduled.
Rain also caused today’s OSAA opening playoff game between Hidden Valley and Siuslaw to be moved to Grants Pass. Game time is at 3:30… Airtime on Coast Radio Sports is set for 3:15.
Getting the start on the mound today for Siuslaw will be Jake Thompson… he was named this week as the number one prep prospect in the state by Baseball Northwest, a player development and evaluation organization based in Salem…
Two other Far West League baseball teams are playing today… North Bend is at Ontario… South Umpqua is at Henley.
