The Eugene Emeralds will have a high-priced outfield for a few days… Centerfielder Donovan Tate, the number three overall pick in the MLB draft four years ago, will be looking to restart his career back in Eugene today as the Emeralds open up a five game series against the Spokane Indians.  Tate received the largest signing bonus in San Diego Padres history when he signed for $6.25-million in 2009.  Tate will join the number 13 overall pick from this year’s draft, Hunter Renfroe.  He’ll be in right field for the Ems for only two more days.  Renfroe collected a $2.7-million signing bonus this year… Saturday he is being transferred up the next step in the Padres’ organization to Fort Wayne.
