EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – Police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found Sunday along a bike trail in west Eugene. Police told KVAL a barking dog got the attention of a woman walking on the Fern Ridge Trail and she found the body in some bushes.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) – Police say a woman walking along a road last night in Salem was hit by two vehicles. She was hit first by a minivan and then run over by a car and pinned. KATU reports it took firefighters 14 minutes to pull the unconscious woman out from under the car’s axle. Both drivers remained at the scene.

ALBANY, Ore. (AP) – Police say a barefoot woman walking along I-5 jumped on top of a disabled vehicle and crushed the car’s windshield while two people sat inside. Authorities arrested Victoria Lohmann of Aumsville on Saturday for first-degree criminal mischief and other charges. Authorities say they found Lohmann with what appeared to be a controlled substance.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A vodka produced by Hood River Distillers was the best-seller by volume for the past year in Oregon. The Oregon Liquor Control Commission reports HRD Vodka sold nearly 249,000 gallons. Number 2 on the list is Fleischmann’s Royal Vodka with about 176,000 gallons.
