Eugene within one game of south division lead

Every once in a while the bats just break loose. That’s what happened last night in Boise as the Eugene Emeralds unleashed 18 hits for an 11-5 win over the Hawks.

The win helped edge the Emeralds to within one game of division leading Hillsboro. Eugene is 12-9 in the second half of the Northwest League Season. The team opens a three game series in Keizer this evening against the Volcanoes.
