Siuslaw and South Umpqua tied behind Marshfield
Prep Volleyball:
Siuslaw easily beat the Bruins in three volleyball games last night in Brookings. Claire Waggoner was 100-percent at the service line with 13 points on serve. Elyssa Rose had 15 kills and one block. Hannah Bartlett had 21 assists and four aces.
In other Far West action last night, South Umpqua downed Douglas in three games, Marshfield beat North Bend. The Pirates are three-and-oh at the top of the standings, Siuslaw and South Umpqua are 2-and-1; tied for second.
