8-point lead fades, but Vikings hold on
Preston Mitchell scored a season high 23 points; Trent Reavis added 12 and the Siuslaw Vikings battled from behind, then held on for a 47-45 Far West boys basketball win over Douglas last night.
In the opening game last night in Winston, the Douglas girls defeated Siuslaw 78-33.
In the Mountain West League… Siletz Valley ran past the Mapleton Sailors 64-25 in the boys game last night. The Warriors came out on top over the Lady Sailors in the girls game 48-17.
