Vikings down Trojans in four in special playoff
The Siuslaw Vikings are the number one seed from the Far West League in the OSAA 4A Volleyball playoffs. The Viks downed co-champions Douglas last night in North Bend 3-1.
Siuslaw led steadily throughout the first set, winning it 25-21; then came from behind to win game two 25-23. The Trojans took a tough-fought third set 22-25 before Siuslaw ran away with the fourth and final game 25-14.
