PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jusuf Nurkic had a career-high 28 points and 20 rebounds, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 114-108 in overtime Thursday night. Nurkic also had eight assists and six blocks in Portland’s fourth straight win.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Vytautas Andriuskevicius won’t play when the Portland Timbers visit the LA Galaxy on Sunday because of an injured calf. The defender known as Vytas is out seven to 10 days, Timbers coach Caleb Porter said Thursday.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Former champion Mitch Seavey reached the Yukon River city of Galena and leads the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. The Seward, Alaska, musher is a two-time champion and the father of current champ Dallas Seavey. Mitch Seavey left Ruby at 1 a.m. Thursday. He followed the Yukon River to reach Galena at 5:34 a.m., traveling at just over 9 miles per hour behind 16 dogs.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Dillon Brooks scored 22 points, Tyler Dorsey added 21 and Number 5 Oregon pulled away in the second half to beat Arizona State 80-57 Thursday in the Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinals. Oregon tightened up defensively after a tight first half, holding Arizona State to 8-of-33 shooting in the second. That set up transition baskets and allowed the Ducks to pull away from the Sun Devils.

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Jacob Wiley had 24 points and 10 rebounds and Eastern Washington rolled to an 89-70 victory over Sacramento State Thursday night in a Big Sky Conference Tournament quarterfinal. Second-seeded Eastern Washington has won six of its last seven and will play Weber State in a Friday semifinal.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Jordan Poydras scored 15 points and Andrew Bastien grabbed 10 rebounds as Utah Valley pulled away from Seattle. in the second half of their Western Athletic Conference quarterfinal matchup, earning a 65-53 win at Orleans Arena Thursday afternoon. The Number 4-seeded Wolverines had a two-point lead at intermission and pulled away from Number 5-seeded Redhawks in the second half to earn a semifinal berth against top-seeded Cal State-Bakersfield.
