After Thursday’s loss to the Tri city Dust Devils the Eugene Emeralds spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday putting together a win streak.  On Friday the Ems went on top 3 zip in the bottom of the third and added two more in the bottom of the seventh to walk away with a 5 -2 victory.  Alonso Garcia pitched 5 strong innings for the win.

On Saturday, the Ems got 8 runs in the first 3 innings and never looked back.  Tri-City scored 4 in a losing battle and Manuel Rodriguez came in in the 2nd inning and recorded the win for the Ems.

Sunday it was a 1-1 tie going into the bottom of the seventh when Brandon Hughes sacrificed to center field to bring Jared Young across the plate for the winning run. Eugene is tied with Hillsboro for first place in the Southern division.
