Emeralds Drop Series
The Emeralds managed only 5 hits on the night and only managed to get one run across the plate while being pounded by the Tri-City Dust Devils. TheDevils came out swinging and took a 4 nothing lead after three innings. Eugene’s lone run came in the top of the sixth when Miguel Amaya homered to right field. The Dust Devils answered back with 5 runs in the bottom of the sixth and the score ended up 9 – 1. The Ems have a 3 game series against Salem-Kaiser which starts at home tonight and then moves to Salem for the final 2 games.
