FURA Open House

With just a few months to go before the city begins its redesign of Highway 101 the Florence Urban Renewal Agency will be unveiling its final draft of the plan.  On Wednesday, April 25th,  there will be an open house hosted at the Florence Event Center for community members and businesses.  In order to accommodate the public the city will review the project details at two separate times:  4:30 and 5:30.  The review will include details about the construction and the timeline for events.  Member of the team will also be available to answer questions.  The project is slated to begin in early August and will cost approximately 7 million dollars to complete.  Just over half the money for the project will come from state and county funds with about 3.25 million dollars to come from the city.
