Next Up-Mississippi State; Ems Trim Hops

Beavers Comeback…Again

The Oregon State Beavers used a late rally to come back against the North Carolina Tar Heels last night in a game that started with a delay due to weather.  The game got under way at 5 pm pacific time.  The beavers took an early 2-0 lead after two home runs from Cadyn Grenier and Adley Rutschman but the Tar Heels fought back to tie it up in the third and then take a three run lead into the seventh.  But the Beaver Bats would not be silent and a 4 run eighth and 4 run ninth secured the Beavers move to Friday’s matchup with Mississippi State.  That game will be on KCMF with an 11:30 pregame and a first pitch at 12:05.

Emeralds Take Hops

The Eugene Emeralds were in Hillsboro to take on the Hops last night.  The game was tied 3-3 until the fifth inning when a wild pitch scored Fernando Kelli giving the Ems a 4-3 advantage.  Final score was 4-3 emeralds.  Game two of the three game series is this evening at 7:05.
