Lady Viks Move Closer to Play-In
The Lady Vikings got a little closer to securing a post season bid last night on the road in Elmira. Next up is the Marshfield Invitational on Saturday and they finish the season with Senior Night against Junction City at home.
Mapleton Senior Night
Last night was Senior Night in Mapleton. The Sailors honored Daleena Bender, their only senior. The Sailors fell in 3 straight against Eddyville Charter. Summer Flansberg had 4 aces and Jahala Blake had 3 kills for Mapleton. The Sailors are on the court Saturday for twin Mountain West League games in Triangle Lake. First up the Sailor girls face the Mohawk Mustangs, then the hosting Lakers at 5:30.
Football:
Siuslaw is on their home turf tonight hosting the Billies of Pleasant Hill at 7 o’clock. Pregame on KCST is at 6:45 on KCST.
Mapleton puts their undefeated season on the line tonight to face last year’s champions the Lowell Devils at 7 o’clock. The Devils are 5-1 this season.
Cross Country:
The Viking Harriers are in Portland for the Warner Pacific Cross Country Classic. Action at Lents Park gets underway at 9am.
Collegiate Football:
The Oregon State Beavers are in Berkley Saturday to take on the Cal Golden Bears in Pac Twelve Football. Pregame on KCFM is at 10:30 kick off is set for 11:30.
Oregon is in Seattle to face the Washington Huskies in Pac Twelve play, pregame on KCST is at 11am, kick off at Husky Stadium is set for 12:30.
