Viking Boys Seal Playoff Bid
The Viking Boys were able to secure at least one game in a league playoff by defeating the falcons Friday night 49-38. Braydon Thornton had 17 points and Jacob Foskett added 13. On Friday night the Siuslaw Vikings Ladies were also in Elmira to take on the Falcons. Brea Blankenship scored 19 points in a game that the Vikings almost pulled out, but the falcons took it in the final minutes 49-42.
Sailor Playoff
The Mapleton Sailor boys will also be in a playoff. That game will be in Harrisburg this Saturday beginning at 12:30. Mapleton finished league play in third place.
The Sailor girls will also have a league playoff game on Wednesday evening at home at 6 pm against the winner of the Alsea/Siletz Valley game.
Ducks Over Utes with 3-pointers
The Oregon Ducks hit 10 3-pointers in the first half as they cruised to a 80 62 victory last night at Matthew Knight Arena. Will Richardson was 4 for 4 from the arc and Payton Pritchard had 5 3-pointers to end the night with 25 against the Utah Utes
Lady Ducks Take 2
The Oregon Duck Women added two more to their win column in Los Angeles as they defeated UCLA on Friday 80-66 and USC last night 93-67.
OSU Men
Oregon State Men’s basketball dropped to 5-8 in the PAC 12 after losing 69-47 on Saturday to Colorado. The Women lost to USC on Friday 72-66. They meet with UCLA this evening at 6 pm.
