COVID-19 Numbers Update
As of this morning Lane County Public health has reported 34 total cases of COVID-19 since Friday. Coronavirus cases continue to mount as the total surpasses the 400 mark with 426 known cases now in the area. The positive test cases are spread out through the community touching school athletics, businesses and small gatherings, mainly affecting the unvaccinated population. Lane County Public Health’s Jason Davis continues to spread the word through the Florence Community with public service announcements on the importance of getting vaccinated. Saturday’s vaccination Clinic was heavily attended according to Nancy Berge with Arc of Lane County who hosted the clinic.
