Duck’s Sewell Honored With Pre-Season Recognition
Third year Oregon Duck Football standout Noah Sewell has been named to the first team all American squad by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. It is Sewell’s second pre season honor. Sewell has led the Ducks with a career high 8.5 tackles for a loss in 2021 and 4 sacks. The Ducks will begin their season on September 3rd against Georgia in Atlanta.
Hjerpe and Melton Round Off Honors
OSU pitcher Cooper Hjerpe and outfielder Jacob Melton have now received all 7 of the possible honors for baseball. The duo was named First-Team All-Americans by Baseball America.
Ball Drop Scheduled for Saturday
This Saturday the Boys and Girls Club of West Lane County will follow through on their helicopter ball drop that was previously scheduled for their June 4th golf Tournament. The ball drop was cancelled due to inclement weather. The drop will be at 10:30 am at the Florence Golf Links.
