New Softball Head Coach
Siuslaw Athletic Director Chris Johnson has announced the arrival of a new Head softball coach for the upcoming season. Brian Riggs has been promoted to head coach after serving as an assistant last season. Riggs has also been assisting youth baseball in Florence over the last 4 years.
Beaver Basketball
The OSU Beavers women’s basketball team defeated Seattle U last night at Gill coliseum. The beavers scored 89 to Seattle’s 53. Talia Von Oelhoffen scored 20 for the beavers.
The men’s team will face Florida A&M this evening at Gill.
The Oregon Ducks will be on the court against UC Irvine tonight at 8pm while the Duck women will face Seattle U tomorrow morning at 11. Both Duck games will be at Matthew Knight Arena.
College Football
Football this weekend pits the #6 Oregon Ducks against the 25th ranked Washington Huskies. That game will air on KCST tomorrow morning with the pregame beginning at 2:30.
The Oregon State Beavers will face Cal on KCFM beginning at 5pm tomorrow.
