Vikings vs La Pine
The Siuslaw Vikings were on the verge of another epic come back in the bottom of the seventh inning yesterday as they faced La Pine in league play here in Florence. A double by Max Reynolds and a walk by Micah Blankenship started roll as the viking were down 9-4. They added two runs before running out of steam. Reynolds was 3 for 4 at the plate and drove in 3 runs for the Vikings, the Achilles for the Vikings was a 4 run first inning by La Pine which left them fighting from behind the entire game. All in all though coach Tom Shinn said it was a strong showing for the Viks and they get the chance to finish their series this Friday on the road.
JV Track and Field
The Viking Track and field JV squad will be on the field tomorrow for a Special District -4 JV Meet at Hans Petersen field with competition beginning at 4pm.
College Baseball
The Ducks and the Beavers will meet tomorrow in Eugene for a three game series that will be broadcast on KCFM beginning at 6:30
