Mapleton Sailors
Mapleton senior Keevyn Walker led the Sailors to victory on the basketball court last night against C.S. Lewis Academy. Walker had 27 of the team’s 49 points with 12 of them coming in the 4th quarter. 9 of the points came from beyond the 3 point arc. Senior Tristan Stewart added 7 for the sailors. They improve to 7-2 on the season and their next game will be against New Hope Christian on Thursday.
The Sailor girls lost to C.S. Lewis 23-48.
Siuslaw Vikings
Siuslaw boys improve to 5-4 after a victory over South Umpqua. 70-59. The Viking Girls battled tough against South Umpqua but in the end were defeated 38-30
Viking Wrestling will be hosting the Crabpools on the Coast tournament tomorrow. Wrestling begins at 10 am.
