Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate senior Mapleton Basketball player Keevyn Walker as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Keevyn led the Sailors in scoring in two games last week with a 21 point game against Columbia Christian and a 27 point showing in the championship game of the C.S. Lewis Invitational.
Honorable mention goes to Siuslaw wrestler Danin Lacouture she went undefeated in last week’s round robin wrestling tournament at Siuslaw High School.
Basketball
Siuslaw Basketball will take on Brookings-Harbor tomorrow at the Bandon Dunes Tournament in Bandon. Gametime is 1:30. The Girls will play Coquille at noon.
