Vikings Still Have Playoff Hopes; Mapleton Regular Season Closes Tonight

Vikings Still Have Playoff Hopes

The Siuslaw Vikings and the La Pine Hawks both lost to their opponents last night to end the regular season.  The Vikings were at Creswell last night and the Bulldogs outdid the Vikings 61-36.  But because of the La Pine loss the Vikings are still in a playoff situation.  They will face Sisters tomorrow night in Sisters.  That game will not be covered on Coast Radio. However, if the game is moved to a neutral site, that could change.  Sisters, Oregon is expecting a winter storm will continue through tomorrow night with up to 5 inches of snow possible.

The Viking girls ended their season last night in a 68-20 loss against Creswell.

Mapleton Regular Season Closes Tonight

The Mapleton Sailors boy’s basketball team will see if they can end their league season undefeated tonight at home against the Mohawk Mustangs.  The 9-4 girls are up first at 5:30.  The boys play at 7.
